not at all.

I love the BRZ, but I don’t know if I could give the FiST up for a BRZ. With a tune you get a lot of nice torque down low.

Yeah. What I’m finding out about the BRZ as I drive it more is the lack of torque is real. It makes a lot of noise when you hit 3K rpm in order to get the engine into the optimal power range and then you look at the speed and you’re doing 15mph...

If you’re really brave, check out Parsons Branch Road — it’s a car-accessible dirt road that goes about 15 miles (one way) from Cade’s Cove and dumps you right out in the middle of the Dragon. Only open in the summer. It’s high on my list, but the one-way thing makes it a big commitment because it takes like 1-2 hours to go back around the mountains, depending on where you're going.

I really wanted one when they first came out - a white premium. but as I’ve had 4 Miatas, and got bored with each of them as DDs, I was afraid the same would happen with the BRZ.

I ended up buying a used C6, and got rid of the C6 to get the FiST. I enjoy the FiST more, but having to park the vette from November-March, and driving my ‘09 Accent all winter was soul crushing :)

I only learned about it by staring at the NPS hiking maps forever. There is so much density of awesomeness around there, but a lot of it is hidden.

Ya, muuch more fun. The C6 was really nice, fast but it’s not the same tossable little car. You use a lot more of the FiST than you can of the C6 on the road.
